FTMO FTMO Challenge (1-Step) 50K rules

Challenge
- Profit target
- 10% of the starting balance ($5,000) in profit. source
- Max drawdown
- 10% of the starting balance ($5,000): a trailing drawdown that follows your highest end-of-day balance. It keeps trailing. Touching it at any moment, open trades included, fails the account. source
- Daily loss limit
- 3% of the starting balance ($1,500), measured from the balance at the start of the trading day, open trades included. Hitting it fails the account. source
- Trading day
- The trading day runs midnight to midnight, Prague time. source
- Consistency rule
- Your best day can be at most 50% of your total profit to pass. Going over doesn't fail the account; you keep trading until the rule is met. source
FTMO Account
- Max drawdown

- The trading day runs midnight to midnight, Prague time. No holding over the weekend. source
- Consistency rule
- Your best day can be at most 50% of your total profit to request a payout, counted since your last payout. Going over doesn't fail the account; payouts wait until it's met. source
- News trading
- No trading from 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after: US Fed funds rate decision and statement, FOMC minutes, US Nonfarm Payrolls / unemployment / wages, US CPI, US Advance GDP, Selected EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, NZD and CHF releases (FTMO restricted list), Crude oil inventories. source
